Maranatha Health & Wellness Ministries is built on the counsel of the eight laws of health introduced by health reformer, Ellen G. White. These laws are acronymed NEW START which is unpacked as N-Nutrition, E-Exercise, W-Water, S-Sunshine, T-Temperance (moderation and abstinence), A-Air, R-Rest, and T-Trust. The goal of Maranatha's Health and Wellness Ministries is to continue to inform and provide resources and solutions on health topics to fulfill God's desire for us to prosper and be in good HEALTH!

Health & Wellness Ministry is launching the NEWSTART program with a new weight loss initiative. Many of us have pandemic pounds we would like to shed. We are focusing on the first component of our program, which is Nutrition. Usually, for weight loss, we use a diet to eat less or differently. But, we found that they are not permanent. Therefore, Health & Wellness is advocating: Life Style Change through Plant Based nutrition. First we will run an Information Campaign for 2 months on plant based cuisine so we know the benefits that can be gained. The information will be presented right here on our Maranatha website by Dr, Milton Mills for the month of June 2022. For July 2022, the information will be brought by Dr. Columbus Batiste.
